Ganesh is done!

I made this for a friend on Ravelry who commissioned it for her hubby's 50th birthday. Lord Ganesh is on his way to her as we speak. He lived with me for so long, I miss him now!

This is his bench that he sits on and the mouse that my husband made.

Thanks, Sian! I appreciate it! :D I worked on him forever and did a ton of ripping out and starting over. But I am really happy with him now. The woman I made him for is really excited, too, which makes it totally worth all the effort that went into him.

completely awesome.
So I came across this while searching for Ganesha patterns. I know you said you had made this as commission, bit I was wondering if there was any way I could get this pattern. I really do love it.

Re: completely awesome.
I'm glad you like him. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any notes. I didn't even take notes beyond those needed to make arms and legs come out similar on left and right sides. He really was free-formed. Lots of ripping and redoing till he looked just how I wanted him to. Good luck in your quest for a Ganesha pattern! There are several on Ravelry - perhaps you could tweak one to make it look how you want.

Re: completely awesome.
I've been looking on ravelry and didn't see any I feel in love with. I was searching online when I came across yours.
I'll look some more though.

Would love to see other things you've made, loving the Ganesha still,
